Historical Roman Wall Discovery!

An exciting piece of history has emerged beneath our new build site: the remains of an old Roman wall, thought to date back nearly two thousand years! 🏛️
Archaeologists have been brought in to study the structure and explore how it connects to Ratae Corieltavorum, the Roman settlement that once occupied the area now known as Leicester. Their early findings suggest the wall may have formed part of a larger structure or boundary within the ancient town. 🔎
It’s a fascinating reminder of the rich heritage beneath our feet and an unexpected glimpse into the past as Leicester continues to grow and evolve. ✨
